Teamwork

3.1 Teamwork

Teamwork is key to effectively completing task in a coherent manner. This is especially true in film production. Most roles are linked in very closely, but if one fails to communicate to the other properly it may lead to . For example:

  • The director is key to guiding the rest of the crew in what to do, which let them do what they have to do in the efficient way. This will have the opposite effect if they fail to do so.
  • Boom operators have to work with camera operators in relation to where the boom pole is placed to get the best audio. But if they don’t the audio may suffer and the visual may also as the boom pole may appear on screen.
  • One of the roles of the producer is to brief the group on health and safety to keep to crew away from hazards. Obviously if she fails to communicate this to the team it may result in accident and at worst injuries.
