Qualities

3.2 Qualities needed to work well with others

During pre-production me and the rest of the crew created both a shooting script and production schedule to map out a time frame. We for the most part were able to keep within the time constraints thanks to this and complete our job from location to location. I made sure during filming to be reliable by taking the initiative and get work done while at the same time listening to the director(Tara) and producers(Lauren) guidance. This teamwork I shared with those two also included the rest of the team, especially the other sound operator(Amy) where we had to switch between the boom pole and zoom recorder with each other.

Throughout the production on set there wasn’t any real occasion where I needed or felt that I had to do share and add ideas to the process. Though when we were scouting the location I gave my opinions on each room in the gym and what there benefits and liabilities were. This included like due to the open space of some room there could be too much of a echo or more difficult issues like pointing out that when the gym was in full operation the interviews would have either take place at a different time if is one of the adjacent room or on the other side of the building.

I also made sure to look a for any safety issues during the production, luckily before the shoot the team filled out a health and safety document marking out everything we could think of we had to look out for.
