4.1 Health and safety practice
Health and safety is very important in film production because there can be lots of electrical equipment and people around the premises. Safety is important on a film production set because if somebody got hurt, that person could easily sue the film company.
A way to apply good health and safety when making a film would be to hire a health and safety expert. For example if a film set is using a lot of fire for a scene, it would be wise for the fire department to be on standby.

4.2 Explain why copyright is important in the film industry
The exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material. Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce. Copyright protects the expression of an idea; it encourages people to ‘create. The fact that people can own the expression of their ideas means they can potentially earn a living by developing them.. If you used someone else’s copyrighted material and commercially profited from that use, you may have to pay them monetary damages, and court may prohibit you from further using his material without their consent. Other material can be used for a film that doesn’t have copyright. Copyright hasn’t impacted our film very much, although our film will be copyrighted in our names.

For health and safety practises you could also have considered the importance of a risk assessment, the specific pressures of working long hours on location. Also if there are other specific hazards like stunts being filmed, or working by busy roads etc.
